Our Story

Mystic Mink Extensions was founded in June 2016, shortly after I relocated to Jamaica. Although I was born in the United States, both of my parents are Jamaican, and moving back allowed me to reconnect with my roots while also seeing a unique opportunity.

At the time, I was a student who noticed a gap in the market: high-quality wigs and extensions were either hard to find or overpriced. As a lover of hair extensions myself, I understood just how transformative great hair can be. Hair is more than just beauty; it’s confidence, self-expression, and a lifestyle. That inspired me to begin importing the latest styles directly from the U.S. to Jamaica, making them accessible and affordable for women who deserved to look and feel their best.

I started small, selling through Instagram and personally meeting customers in Half-Way Tree. With consistency and dedication, Mystic Mink Extensions grew quickly, and within about a year, I was able to open a physical store in the heart of Half-Way Tree.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in 2020, we adapted by closing our storefront and transitioning fully back to online sales through Instagram and Shopify. This shift allowed us to serve clients not only in Jamaica but also internationally, continuing to deliver the same trusted quality and styles.

Today, Mystic Mink Extensions remains committed to growth and excellence. We take pride in contributing to the Jamaican economy while empowering women everywhere with the confidence that comes from flawless hair. Our mission is simple: to continue changing lives, one bundle and one wig at a time.
